Over 21,000 Attend Battle on the Border West Monroe and Evangel Accepts 2015 Invitation

The Landers Dodge Battle on the Border High School Football Showcase continues to grow as one of the top high school football sporting events in this region. Shreveport Independence Stadium served host to 21,700 spectators September 12th – 13th as high school football fans throughout the Southern region cheered on their favorite teams. “We are so excited about the direction this sporting event is headed. Hats off to the City of Shreveport, title sponsor Landers Dodge, participating schools and high school football fans in this region,” said Patrick Wesley, City of Shreveport.

2015 only gets better, as West Monroe (West Monroe, LA) and Evangel Christian Academy (Shreveport, LA) have agreed to play in the 2015 Battle on the Border. Official game match ups will be announced at a later date.

The 2015 Battle on the Border will be held September 10th -12th. The three day, seven game format will showcase some of the finest high school football teams and players in the South.
